IP: 4 decades of Bn propaganda has brought us to where we are now. Far ahead of other developing countries. Why are we not giving them credit for that? Sure it's easy to take over and continue. Anybody at all can do that. But starting something new is where it matters. To quote Harun Din in Perlis--jalan sudah ada, semua sudah ada bukan susah nak rule. Acknowledged pula tu.

GS: Which developing country are you talking about? Nepal? Why don't we compare ourselves with our little twin down south? Time Asia (July 19, 1999): 'in 1997, Singapore's per capita GNP hit US$33,000, exceeding that of Germany and the U.S.' That's the performance of a tiny country without natural resources! Half the people there are related to us! How about we compare ourselves with Taiwan?

GS: How difficult is it to run a country with a small population and plenty of resources like Malaysia? If you let me chop down all the trees in Bakun and sell the timber to the Japanese, I'll show you what a great businessman I am. If you let me spend Petronas' money, I'll show you how many beautiful buildings I can construct to make Malaysians 'proud'! Is Dr M the only intelligent leader left in the country?
