API's Aims

API's aims are:

• To unite youths in a single FRONT.
• To support the struggle to uphold the principles of  our country.
• To prepare and train youths to be good leaders, leaders ever ready to listen to the voice of the people.
• To uphold youths' rights to associate.
• To return democracy to Malaysia, a democracy based on voice and guided by the people of Malaysia.
• To oppose any form of colonialism, internal or external.
• To provide a platform for the downtrodden and the less fortunate to voice dissatisfaction over any shortcomings in the beauracratic system and the inequality in freedom of expression.

In short API will struggle to bring about true independence for Malaysia and all Malaysians by any means necessary. API will not back down unless and until our aims and the aims of the people are achieved.

API was formed because of:

• The uprising of the people due to the unfairness of the government in political and economic matters.
• The uprising of the people to demand freedoms as contained in the constitution.
• The uniting of all races in Malaysia in issues of justice.
• The uprising of youths and students to demand reform in all state institutions.
